Something not working?

£3.99 a month, £24.99 a year, or £34.99 once for good. The App Store confirms the price before you buy.

It unlocks exactly one thing: creating a Circle of more than two people, up to six. That is the whole list. Appointments, alerts, the countdown on the Lock Screen, the Live Activity, the widgets, the calendar copy, export and all nine themes are free, and they stay free. Reminders are not paywalled and never will be.

Because a household split down the middle by a paywall is not a household. If somebody invites you, accepting costs nothing, now or later, and you get the same app they have. Only the person creating a Circle beyond two people pays.

Nothing happens to them. They are on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and they stay there whether you pay or not. Nothing is locked, hidden or held back, and export keeps working.

A Circle you have already created carries on, and everybody already in it stays in it. The one thing you lose is inviting somebody new beyond the second person, until you subscribe again.

Because there is no Circled server for it to live on. A Circle is a share inside iCloud between your Apple Account and the people you invite, so it needs you signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive on, and it needs them signed in too.

Signed out, the rest of the app behaves exactly as it otherwise does, entirely on your iPhone. You simply cannot share. If invitations are failing, check iCloud on both phones first, because that is usually the answer.

Open Settings inside Circled, find Calendar, and turn on Sync with Apple Calendar. iOS will ask for calendar access. Circled then creates a calendar of its own and writes a copy of each appointment into it, keeping the copy correct when something moves.

Despite the name of the toggle, the copy goes one way. Circled stays the original, and edits you make in Apple Calendar do not come back. Circled only ever touches the calendar it created, never the rest of your diary.

Turn it off and Circled asks whether to take those events back out of Apple Calendar or leave them where they are.

Because it would rather say so than make a number up. An invented or stale travel time is worse than none at all, since you would act on it.

It usually means one of four things:

• The place was typed rather than picked from the suggestions, so there is no coordinate to route to. Choosing it again from the search results is the fix.
• Location permission is off, or was never asked for.
• There is no drivable route, which happens with journeys abroad or over water.
• Apple Maps could not answer just then.

While the journey is unknown, the countdown falls back to the appointment's own start time and your arrive-early buffer, which is still useful and is at least not a fiction.

Open the Circled+ screen and tap Restore. That asks Apple directly, which is the only place the answer lives, and it covers a new iPhone, a reinstall, and a purchase made on another device. If Restore does not sort it, email us with the date of the purchase and we will help you chase it.

In Circled, open Settings and choose Delete all appointments. If you want a copy first, Export everything is on the same screen and gives you a calendar file and a full backup.

Deleting the app removes what is on the device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, open the Settings app, tap your Apple Account, then iCloud, then manage your storage, and remove Circled's data there.

There is nothing to delete at our end, because we never had it. The privacy policy sets out why.

Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles both. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing.
